Frank Gore is still going strong as he and the Miami Dolphins come to Minnesota on Sunday to face the Vikings.
Gore, 35, leads Miami with 708 yards rushing this season and owns a 4.7-yard average per carry. Gore is now fourth all-time in NFL history in rushing with 14,734 yards.
"Frank Gore is a tremendous back," Zimmer said. "He’s very physical, great runner, great vision. He’s been a great back in this league for a long time. [Kenyan] Drake is a heck of a back. They’re very similar in backs with what we played last week. Very strong, physical runners. Catch the ball out of the backfield well. It’s a credit and a testimony to him that he’s been able to do it this long."
