EAGAN, Minn. -- A day after signing their many of their own players to the practice squad, the Minnesota Vikings added the final piece of the 10-man squad by signing tight end Cole Hikutini.
Hikutini was released by the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota's Week One opponent, recently.
An undrafted free agent out of Louisville, Hikutini played in four games for San Francisco last season as a rookie. He started the year on the 49ers practice squad before being elevated to the active roster. He had two catches for 15 yards.
