EAGAN, Minn. -- Kentrell Brothers didn't enjoy sitting and watching the Minnesota Vikings play.
He will get the chance to contribute immediately as he was activated to the active roster on Friday after being suspended for four weeks for testing positive for performance-enhancing substances. Minnesota released guard Bryan Witzmann to make room on the 53-man roster for Brothers.
Brothers was a fifth-round draft pick in 2016 by the Vikings and has proven to be a key special teams performance. In 28 career games, he's led the team with 25 special teams tackles over the past two seasons.
