Dalvin Cook returns after missing five games, with Riley Reiff and Xavier Rhodes back after recent misses.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Dalvin Cook makes his return to the Minnesota Vikings' lineup, but receiver Stefon Diggs will miss his first game of the season because of a rib injury sustained in last week's game.

Diggs, who is tied for fourth in the NFL with 58 catches this season, was listed inactive for Sunday's home game against Detroit along with quarterback Kyle Sloter, running back Roc Thomas, safety Andrew Sendejo, linebacker Anthony Barr, left guard Tom Compton and defensive end Tashawn Bower.

Laquon Treadwell will start in place of Diggs. Danny Isidora will make his second straight start in place of Compton, who has a knee injury. Eric Wilson will start for Barr, who is missing his second straight game with a hamstring injury. Sendejo will miss his fourth straight game with a groin injury. Anthony Harris starts in his place this week instead of George Iloka.

Cook has been limited to three games this season because of a hamstring injury. He's missed four of the past five games.

Left tackle Riley Reiff is active after missing the past three games with a foot injury. Rashod Hill filled in for Reiff and could move back to a starting spot on the right side. Rookie Brian O'Neill would go to the bench.

Cornerback Xavier Rhodes missed last week's game with a foot injury, but he's active for Sunday.

Minnesota has receiver Chad Beebe, signed off the practice squad on Saturday, active for Sunday's game. Offensive tackle Storm Norton was waived to make room on the active roster for Beebe.
