Kirk Cousins talks about avoiding turnovers in Sunday night's win over Packers

Cousins avoided turnovers as he and Vikings bounceback with 24-17 win against the Packers

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins had plenty of criticism after last week's loss and Minnesota falling to 0-3 in primetime games. But the Vikings and their franchise quarterback bounced back in a big way on Sunday night against Green Bay.

Cousins has had his best two games this season against the Packers. He was 29 of 38 for 342 yards passing and three touchdowns on Sunday.

"It shows his characters and what kind of player he is to just not really care what people talk about him, and not care what happened last week and to go out there and play some really good football," receiver Adam Thielen said. "The throws he was making and his full game was really impressive, and that's what you expect of him."

Offensive lineman Tom Compton said: "He's a hell of a guy. He's shown it and I'm glad he could show it out there tonight. A lot of people were doubting him, so it is good for him."
