The Houston Texans Bring Back special teams player Joe Webb III on a One-Year Deal.

The Houston Texans have re-signed special teams player Joe Webb III to a one-year deal. Webb also helped at wide receiver and was the Texans 3rd string quarterback in case of emergencies. The deal is worth $1 million according to multiple reports.

Webb was signed to a one-year deal last season by general manager Brian Gaine and the Texans plan to keep him in the same role he fit into during the 2018 season.

Webb helped on special teams and put up 3 special teams tackles and also caught 2 passes for 13 yards. Webb was active for all 16 game last season including the playoff game.

With the veteran able to fill many roles on the roster but primary a special teams player, expect Webb to be on the 53-man roster when the 2019 season opens.

Webb is the 7th Texans free agent the team has opted to retain for the upcoming season.
