1950 Rams -Two Hall of Fame QBs (Bob Waterfield, Norm Van Brocklin) and two Hall of Fame WRs (Tom Fears, Crazylegs Hirsh). The Rams scored 466 points in a 12-game schedule, an average of 38.8 per game. The 2013 Broncos averaged only 37.8 points per game.
1981 Chargers-Air Coryell – the year the Chargers suffered frostbite at the AFC title game in Cincinnati. QB Dan Fouts, WR Charlie Joiner and TE Kellen Winslow all in the Hall of Fame. Joiner, Winslow and Wes Chandler all had 1,000-yard seasons on a team that scored 55 more points (478) than anyone else.
1999 Rams - The Greatest Show on Turf. HB Marshall Faulk is already in the Hall of Fame and QB Kurt Warner, WRs Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt and OT Orlando Pace are all on the ballot for the Class of 2015. Warner was NFL MVP and the Rams Super Bowl champs.
2013 Broncos -Peyton Manning set NFL records with his 5,477 yards and 55 TDs. WRs Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker had 1,000-yard seasons, TE Julius Thomas caught 12 TD passes and WR Wes Welker 10. Knowshon Moreno also rushed for 1,000 yards for the AFC champs.
