Otto Graham did indeed play for Rochester Royals in 1946. At the time they were in the National Basketball League, the forerunner of the NBA. He had already signed with the Cleveland Browns but their inaugural AAFC season had not yet begun. Graham had originally gone to Northwestern on a basketball scholarship and played there and later for Colgate while in flight school during WWII. Typical of Graham his team, the Royals, won the NBL title in a five-game series. That means professionally he was on 11 teams and all 11 reached eh championship game. Let's see someone do that today!.
