This morning, the first article to catch my attention was nine players facing extreme pressure in 2019. Before opening the link, my mind immediately got upset. First thing I thought was, "JuJu and James Conner are going to be in this list, I already know it."
Luckily for me, they weren't. In fact, I couldn't agree more with the people who actually made the top nine. Players like Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell highlighted it while JuJu and Conner were sitting on the sidelines minding their own business.
Much of how they've handled the last two offseasons.
Which got me thinking - why did my mind immediately turn to the two stars in Pittsburgh? Why is it that I thought people believed JuJu and Conner need to prove themselves after they already have?
It's because this article was correct, but many aren't. There is still a large portion of the NFL fanbase who believes Pittsburgh is the team that's on the hotseat, not Oakland and AB or New York and Le'Veon.
So, for those who still believe the Steelers didn't make positive moves this offseason, or that their top running back and wide receiver are the ones who need to shine in 2019, here's why they don't.
