Seahawks' London game moved amid safety concerns

Seattle will now face the Oakland Raiders at historic Wembley Stadium.

The Seattle Seahawks will stay play in London in 2018, but they won't be christening the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as anticipated.

Due to concerns with the "critical safety systems," the stadium's opening will be delayed until further notice.

With pivotal testing days now inevitably pushed back, Tottenham revealed several scheduled events will be relocated as contractors work on a revised timetable for the state-of-the-art stadium.

"In the meantime, therefore, our upcoming Premier League matches against Liverpool (15 September) and Cardiff City (6 October) will be switched to Wembley, as will the NFL match scheduled for 14 October."

With the Seahawks Week 6 contest against the Raiders changing locations, the NFL plans to announce ticketing details later this week, including relevant information for fans who already purchased hospitality packages.
