The NFL free agency period unofficially opened on Monday, with the legal tampering period being put into effect. Multiple teams across the league prepared for 2019 free agency to officially open on Wednesday afternoon by agreeing in principle to shove all of their chips in on a few different players in attempts to upgrade their rosters before the coming season.
Over the next couple of weeks, the Los Angeles Rams are sure to make a number of moves, as multiple high-profile players are set to hit free agency. We will update our live tracker with free agent signings, rumors, trades and more. All transactions are sequenced with most recent updates first.
Wednesday, March 13
Free Agency Officially Opens at 4 p.m. ET
8:22 AM: According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the contract includes $12 million guaranteed with $2 million in incentives. Sure, it is still $14M, but that change in the base salary frees up space that the Rams' front office can use elsewhere.

11:22 AM: GM Les Snead has announced that the team is in the process of putting a second-round tender on restricted-free agent LB Cory Littleton, as well as original round tenders on RB Malcolm Brown and DB Blake Countess.
ESPN's Lindsey Thiry reports that the Rams are still in the process of deciding whether or not to place a tender on CB Troy Hill.
10:49 AM: The Rams expect veteran LG Roger Saffold to sign a large deal in FA that they won't be able to compete with, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry.
Saffold was drafted by the Rams in 2010, and has started in 111 games for St. Louis/Los Angeles.

Legal Tampering Period Begins
6:58 PM: Former Rams' safety Lamarcus Joyner has agreed to a 4-year deal with the Raiders.
According to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez, the deal is for about $10.5M per season.
Joyner spent 5 season with the Rams, but the signing of S Eric Weddle earlier in the week looked as if LA was preparing for Joyner to leave in free agency.
4:02 PM: A report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that DT Ndamukong Suh is not expected to re-sign with the Rams, but he wishes to stay on the West Coast, near his home town of Portland, Ore.
This would mean that Suh is eyeing either the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers or the Los Angeles Chargers.
Sunday, March 10
8:21 PM: The Rams reached an agreement with Edge Rusher Dante Fowler Jr. for one year worth $14 million. Fowler was set to become a free agent after being traded to the Rams during the 2018 season from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fowler played in 11 games for the Rams after the trade, including three in the postseason, and made nine starts. In his six regular-season starts, Fowler finished with a pass deflection, fumble recovery, two sacks and five quarterback hits.
Friday, March 8
1:35 PM: Los Angeles agreed to a 2-year deal with Pro Bowl safety Eric Weddle, worth up to $12.5 million, with a base salary of $10.5 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Weddle was released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this week, and reported considered retirement before coming to terms with LA.
