Kyler Fackrell Interview Postgame vs Seahawks

(On hearing that Clay Matthews believes he [Fackrell] deserves recognition for good play…)

“Clay’s been great. I’ve learned a lot from him, playing with him. All of us have a good deal of respect for one another with our ability to pass rush. I’m sure they focus on Clay a lot more than me, so that helps me.”

(On the aggressiveness of the defense…)

“I think that’s something we pride ourselves on as a defense, kind of flying to the ball. I think for the most part we did a good job of that tonight, but in a couple of key situations we weren’t able to make the plays.”

(On how it feels to have a good game on a nationally televised game…)

“It would be a lot better if we won. I’m happy for the most part in how I played. I think I left some plays out there, and obviously we lost, so it’s bittersweet.”

(On what he attributes to his improving play…)

“I just think it’s the process of continuing to work. I don’t think that it was necessarily any one thing. I’ve always studied about the same amount of film. There was no big change that I made in any one area, I don’t think. I think just playing free a little bit and just continuing to work.”
