Giants Re-sign Russell Shepard

Giants receiver announces his return to the team.

Giants wide receiver and special teams player Russell Shepard took to Instagram Wednesday to announce his return to the team.

Shepard, who had been an unrestricted free agent, caught 10 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown in 12 games in 2018, his first season with the Giants.

The Giants have already re-signed Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, and Corey Coleman for 2019.

They will join Sterling Shepard, who enters the final yer of his rookie deal this season.

However, the Giants receiving corps will be missing Odell Beckham Jr, who was traded to the Browns for safety Jabrill Peppers, and the Browns' first and third-round picks in this draft.
