Offensive lineman Marshal Yanda was activated from the physically unable to perform list by the Baltimore Ravens after passing his physical on Saturday.
The veteran guard was placed on the PUP list when training camp started on July 16 as he continued to recover from a fractured left ankle and offseason shoulder surgery.
The 33-year-old fractured his left ankle in a Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns and missed the remainder of last season.
Yanda made six straight Pro Bowls from 2011 through 2016, and he was twice a member of the All-Pro team. He has started 135 of 146 games since the Ravens drafted him in the third round in 2007.
Yanda is not expected to play in Baltimore's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams but may start practicing on a limited basis shortly.
