The Green Bay Packers signed defensive tackle Joey Mbu, the team announced Monday.

Mbu has never started an NFL game, but he has appeared in nine — two for the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 and seven for the Indianapolis Colts this past season.

The 6-foot-3, 313-pound Mbu was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Houston by the Falcons in 2015.

Last year, he spent the offseason with the Redskins but was waived after training camp and signed to the Colts’ practice squad. Mbu was elevated to the active roster by Indianapolis on Nov. 7, 2017.
