TE Dallas Goedert: Learning the Eagles' offense, which is much more complicated than the one they ran at South Dakota State, is going to be an adjustment. But the Eagles will work Goedert into some "12" personnel sets with Zach Ertz. His size and soft hands should help him make an early impact.
DE Josh Sweat: Sweat has 4.53 speed and impressive first-step takeoff. The Eagles' wide-nine scheme is going to take advantage of his speed much more than Florida State's scheme did. He won't get a lot of snaps early on because of the presence of veterans such as Brandon Graham, Chris Long and Michael Bennett.
WHAT THE HELL?
T Jordan Mailata: The Eagles only had five picks, which was the second fewest of the league's 32 teams. But that didn't stop them from taking a boom-or-bust flier on this 6-foot-8, 346-pound Australian rugby player in the seventh round. Mailata, who has never played football, has 35 1/2-inch arms and virtually no body fat. He'll probably spend the 2018 season on the practice squad.
