Ex-Bucs DE McCants arrested, faces cocaine charge

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Keith McCants was arrested and charged with a felony count of possession of crack cocaine early Monday morning near St. Petersburg, Fla, multiple media outlets reported.

McCants, 50, was also charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Per the Tampa Bay Times, McCants has been arrested in the Tampa area on nine occasions since 2010.

McCants recorded 36 tackles and 13.5 sacks in 88 career games since being selected by the Buccaneers with the fourth overall pick of the 1990 NFL Draft, He also played with the Houston Oilers and Arizona Cardinals before his NFL career ended in 1995.
