The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed rookie offensive lineman Alex Cappa, the team announced Saturday.
Cappa, Tampa Bay’s third-round pick (No. 94 overall) in the NFL Draft, signed a four year contract.
The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder is the first player drafted out of Humboldt State since 1992. He was named the top offensive lineman in the Greater Northwest Athletic Conference in each of his four seasons.
Cappa also was a finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award in 2017, which goes to the top lineman in Division II. He also was a Division II All-American as a senior.
