Thinking about placing a wager on Sunday's Jets-Titans game in Nashville? It's legal if you live in New Jersey.
The Jets opened as 9.5-point underdogs, but the line had moved down to -8 as of Saturday night at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
New York is tied with the Eagles, Falcons, 49ers and Raiders for the worst record in the league against the spread at 3-8.
The only games the Jets covered the spread were their three wins -- Week 1 in Detroit and Weeks 5-6 at home against the Broncos and Colts, respectively.
This will be the fourth time this season they are more than a touchdown underdog in a game, and they failed to cover in each of the first three. They lost 31-12 in Jacksonville getting 7.5 points, 24-10 in Chicago getting 8.5 and 27-13 last week to the Patriots getting 12.5 points.
As for the Titans (5-6), they are 6-5 against the spread, but have only been favored in one game this season -- a 13-12 loss Week 5 in Buffalo laying six points.
They have only played four home games in their first 11, as they finish with four of their last five in Nashville.
Jets-Titans pick against the spread
The Jets are playing out the string, and I don't think Sam Darnold is back at 100 percent quite yet, so I'd expect Josh McCown to get his third straight start. No matter, the Titans are only a game out of the final wild-card spot in the AFC, and they should take care of business against a Jets team that has two road wins in the last two seasons.
Pick: Titans, 31-17
