How bad have the Patriots been on the road this season? Quite

If you’re a Jets fan looking for a glimmer of hope, take solace in New England’s poor road record

The Jets are becoming bigger underdogs for today’s game by the second (more in the video above), but Tom Brady hasn’t been his usual self this season on the road, where New England is only 2-3 this season.

The Pats have lost in Jacksonville, Detroit and Tennessee this season, and none of those teams currently have a winning record (sound like any other team you know)? They beat Buffalo on a Monday night, but it was a sluggish performance, and their best road game was a 38-31 win in Chicago, when the Bears nearly scored on a Hail Mary on the last play of the game.

MORE:5 keys to today's game

Brady hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass in his last two games away from Gillette Stadium and while his overall numbers are decent (six TDs, two INTs), the Patriots’ offense is averaging just 20 points per game on the road, including just 10 in the loss to the Titans two weeks ago.

Brady threw three touchdowns in the Bears game but hasn’t thrown another on the road since.

He didn’t throw any in Buffalo and New England only got to 25 points because of a late pick-sox that ended the game.

Here are today’s Jets inactives: QB Sam Darnold, LG James Carpenter, FS Marcus Maye, CB Derrick Jones, WR Rishard Matthews, OLB Jeremiah Attaochu and WR Deontay Burnett.

No major injuries for the Patriots today, except for backup TE Dwayne Allen, but TE Rob Gronkowski returns from a two-game absence, so that isn’t too big of a blow.
