The Eagles announced a couple of major changes to their training camp schedule.
The first is that there will be only one open practice to the public at Lincoln Financial Field. Since moving from Lehigh University’s open-all-the-time accommodations in Chip Kelly’s first year of 2013, the Eagles have always had at least two open practices.
The second is that the team will charge a $10 admission price to attend the one open practice, which is held on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. Previously, attendance was free. The admission charge will be given to the Eagles Autism Challenge.
Seating will still be done on a first-come, first-serve basis, so there are no assigned seating that comes with the tickets.
Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.com.
The majority of the training camp practices will be hosted at the team’s NovaCare Complex practice facility in South Philadelphia and will be open to select fans including season ticket members, charitable organizations and corporate partners.
Players are scheduled to report to camp on July 24 with the first practice on the following day. The reporting date is also something new. In previous years, rookies and first-year players reported three days earlier and practiced prior to the veterans reporting.
