Dallas hosts Philadelphia at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday. The Cowboys posted 27 points and 410 total yards in a win in Philly last month, which should catch the attention of fantasy football owners.
Here are the best bets:
QB Dak Prescott is healthy and playing on a winning team entering Week 14 of the NFL season. Those facts alone make him a potential starter on some fantasy football teams at this time of year. And lately he’s been a pretty decent option. He’s averaged better than 250 passing yards the last four games with 7 total TDs. The Cowboys matchup with the Eagles bodes well for Prescott owners as well. He passed for 270 yards with a TD toss and a rushing TD in Philadelphia four weeks ago.
RB Ezekiel Elliott continues to be an elite fantasy football player. He proved it again last week in Dallas’s win over New Orleans as he caught 6 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown along with 76 rushing yards. That was his least productive game in the last four weeks, but still worth a healthy chunk of fantasy points. He could be back in superstar form this week with the Eagles coming to town.
WR Amari Cooper is getting comfortable with Prescott. In his last two games, he has 16 catches for 255 yards with a couple of touchdowns. In his second game with the Cowboys, Cooper caught 6 passes for 75 yards in Philadelphia last month. Back in the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium, Cooper is primed for a big game on Sunday.
K Brett Maher might not be rated among the top shelf kickers in the NFL yet, but he’s having a solid rookie season. Maher has made good on 24 of 28 field goals and 23 of 24 extra points. But the stat that fantasy owners really care about, he’s nailed 4 of 5 from beyond 50 yards.
