The Cowboys' training camp will be in Oxnard, Calif., for three more weeks, so most Dallas-based fans will have to wait a bit to see the team up close.
But once they return, DFW Cowboys fans will be able to head over to The Star in Frisco for a few open dates.

OXNARD, Calif. – Training camp will continue back at The Star in Frisco next month when the Cowboys return from Oxnard, and the Cowboys have scheduled five open practices at Ford Center for fans to see their favorite team prepare for the upcoming season.
Training Camp at The Star, presented by American Airlines and “Back to Football,” will kick off with an Opening Ceremony on Monday, Au. 20 at 5:30 p.m. (Central).
Below is the schedule for the five open practices at Ford Center:
Monday, Aug. 20: 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 21: 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 23: 11 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 24: 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 28: 11 a.m.
Admission and parking are free and open to the public. Entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Practice times are subject to change.
