Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said this afternoon he does not expect to see DE David Irving in training camp. Jones cited "off-the-field issues" that Irving is working through in agreement with the team.
Jones did not give a target date for the DE to rejoin the team and begin football activities. Irving was suspended four games during the offseason for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Irving posted seven sacks in just eight games last season. He missed the first four games of last season on suspension and the last four due to a concussion.
