Ticket Sales Start Monday Jan. 14 for AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium

Public ticket sales begin at noon Monday; presales for season ticket members, Jackson County taxpayers start at 9 a.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Arrowhead Stadium hosts its first-ever AFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan,. 20, and the hottest ticket in Chiefs history expects to sell out quickly when sales begin on Monday.

Ticket sales to the general public start at noon on Monday, Jan. 14. Fans can purchase tickets online atwww.chiefs.com.

Jackson County, Mo., taxpayers can purchase tickets for the game from a special allotment starting at 9 a.m. on Monday. Fans buying tickets from the supply for county taxpayers can only purchase tickets in person at the stadium. Tickets will be available at the main ticket office on the northwest side located between the Founder's Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate as well as the secondary ticket office located at the Sprint gate. Taxpayers must provide a photo identification and 2017 or 2018 paid personal property tax receipt.

Season ticket holders also have the opportunity to purchase additional AFC Championship game tickets beginning at 9 a.m. Monday. Information on how to purchase additional tickets will be sent directly to season ticket holders.

The cheapest resale ticket on the secondary market is currently $306, according to the secondary ticket marketplace TicketIQ. That would be third-highest get-in price for the AFC Championship game during the past 10 seasons.

The average asking price is $522 according to TicketIQ. That would rank as the third cheapest this decade. The service reported the average asking price decline 10 percent during the last four days.

All AFC Championship game tickets will be mobile-delivery online. Tickets purchased through the team have six-ticket limit per purchaser.

Parking passes are also available online with prepaid parking available for $50 through the team's online ticket office. Game day parking will be $60 cash only.
