Meet the man, Steve Wilks, who takes over from Gregg Williams as the Browns' new defensive coordinator during his first meeting with the media Thursday at Browns headquarters in Berea.
Wilks, 49, was asked if being fired as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals after only one season puts a chip on his shoulder.
"I have had a chip on my shoulder my whole life," he said. "It started at Division II Johnson C. Smith University, where I am lining the field and washing clothes. I have always had a chip on my shoulder."
I like that attitude.
Now watch Wilks' entire interview, and judge for yourself.
