Shane Ray, Adam Jones among inactives for Denver on Thursday night.

Ray is out with an injured ankle, Jones still battling a thigh injury; both are out against Arizona

If the Denver Broncos are going to end their four-game losing streak in Arizona tonight, they'll have to do it without some key players.

Linebacker Shane Ray (ankle), cornerback Adam Jones (thigh) and tackle Jared Veldheer (knee) headline the inactives for Denver against the Cardinals. A short week didn't help guys recover from injuries suffered against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, but Ray's status for any day this week was iffy. He was in a walking boot during the week and could miss multiple games.

Jones has had trouble staying on the field since signing with Denver just before the season started. He has battled injury the first six weeks.

Thursday is the first game Denver will play without tackle Ron Leary, who suffered a torn Achilles on Sunday. He was placed on injured reserve this week and will miss the remainder of the season.

The rest of the inactives for the Broncos are: QB Kevin Hogan, S Dymonte Thomas and LB Alexander Johnson.
