Marshall, Stewart, Freeman among inactives for Broncos on Sunday

Linebacker Brandon Marshall will miss his first game, safety Darian Stewart, running back Royce Freeman also out

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is inactive for Sunday's game with a bone bruise. Marshall was expected to be out with the injury suffered in the loss at Kansas City last week. It's the first game he will miss this season.

Safety Darian Stewart (neck) and running back Royce Freeman (high ankle sprain) will each miss their second consecutive game with injuries suffered Oct. 18 at Arizona. Denver's secondary is thin with Bradley Roby also out with an ankle injury.

Denver does get some reinforcement with safety Su'a Cravens making his season debut against Houston.

The rest of the Broncos' inactives are guard Sam Jones, guard Nico Falah and wide receiver Darian Stewart.

Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who was traded to the Texans on Tuesday, is active for the game. He could see some significant action with wide receiver Keke Coutee out.
