Icy temps greet players and fans for Rams-Broncos game

Second-coldest September-October game for Rams-Broncos game

The gametime temperature of 25 degrees for Sunday’s contest between the Los Angeles Rams and the Denver Broncos represented the second-coldest game in September or October in the Broncos’ team history.

The coldest game in Denver in either of those two months came in a 1969 game against the Oakland Raiders when the temperature fell to 22 degrees.

Light snow fell in the Denver area overnight and during the day but the field at Broncos Stadium at Mile High was unaffected and clear of any buildup of snow.
