DaeSean Hamilton is ready for an expanded role with Sanders out

DaeSean Hamilton will be asked to do more with Sanders in injured reserve, but he is confident he can produce.

DaeSean Hamilton went to practice on Wednesday as the third or fourth wide receiver but by the time it ended he was in the mix to start for unfortunate reasons. The loss of leading receiver Emmanuel Sanders has thrust Hamilton into a bigger role heading into San Francisco on Sunday.

Hamilton, a rookie out of Penn State, has just five catches this season. He has played in 10 games but missed two with an MCL sprain. But he is confident he will produce in Sanders' absence.
